Support
TuneSlider is built and maintained by a single independent developer. Email is the best and fastest way to reach me.
Need help, or found a bug?
I read every email and usually reply within a few days.
What audio formats does TuneSlider support?
MP3 and M4A/AAC files. Format is detected from the file's actual contents, so a correctly-encoded file opens fine even if it's misnamed.
Does TuneSlider need an internet connection?
No. TuneSlider works fully offline — it plays files already on your device and never needs to reach the network for anything.
Can I import songs from Apple Music or my streaming library?
Not yet — this is planned for a future iOS update. One real limitation to know ahead of time: DRM-protected tracks from an active Apple Music subscription can't have their speed or pitch changed by any app, including TuneSlider, even once this ships — only DRM-free files (your own purchases, CD rips, synced files) will work.
How do I reset all my saved settings?
Open the gear icon on the Now Playing screen → Reset All Settings. This clears every saved speed/pitch/fine-tune value, every favorite, and every playlist — it's a full reset, not just the current song, and can't be undone.
Does playback continue if I lock my phone or switch apps?
Yes. TuneSlider keeps playing in the background, with full transport controls (play/ pause, skip, rewind/forward 15s) on your lock screen and in Control Center / your notification shade.
Is there an Android version?
Yes — TuneSlider is available on Google Play, with the same speed/pitch/fine-tune controls, favorites, playlists, and visualizers as iOS. The iOS version isn't on the App Store yet; see the badges on the home page for both.
Reporting a bug
The fastest way to get a fix is to include, in your email:
- Your device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 16e, iOS 18.7)
- The app version (Settings, or the App Store listing)
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- Whether it happens every time or only sometimes
